The
28th St Senans AC AGM took
place at the Parish Hall in Kilmacow
last Wenesday with a large crowd in
attendance. In his address outgoing
chairman John Walsh paid tribute to the
remarkable achievements of the club’s
athletes both in T&F and cross
country over the past year. He also
thanked coaches James Aylward, Brendan
Foskin and Pam Foskin for their hard
work in preparing the athletes for
events. With respect to the outgoing
committee, he commented on their great
contribution to keeping the club running
so smoothly and made a presentation to
treasurer Theresa Aylward who is
retiring from this position. He thanked
our main sponsors Willie Fogarty Car
Sales, Don Butler Plant Hire, Kelly
& Dollard Electrical, Super Valu,
Hypercentre Waterford, Waterford
Crystal, Sean Caulfield and all who
donated prizes for events over the past
year. He also thanked Thomas Quinlan and
John Dunphy for the use of their land
for training and cross country events as
well as the staff of the Munster Express for their excellent coverage of athletics. The
following is the newly elected club
officers for 2006, Chairman John Walsh,
